About Persha

Originally from France, Persha, is an electro-pop artist bringing a fresh, electrifying sound to the Canadian music scene. With a nostalgic 90's vibe and a modern twist, her music is all about empowering listeners and making them feel unstoppable. Persha’s journey kicked off in 2018, when Vanessa Giangrande—her alter ego and a former TV editor—decided to dive into music full time. Since then, she’s made waves in both the music and film worlds.

In 2024, she’s teaming up with French electro artist Tolvy on the track Loneliness and joining forces with synthwave artist Astral Tales on a single from his upcoming album. Her 2022 EP Mind the Witch brought her major attention, including a massive collaboration with synthwave legend Carpenter Brut on Lipstick Masquerade which hit over 3 million streams. She also had the honor of performing alongside Carpenter Brut at iconic venues like the Zénith de Paris and the Hellfest festival.

When she’s not collaborating with artists and DJs, Persha is composing original music for film, TV, and media. Her work has been featured in films such as Là où l'on va (2019), Sentinelle (2021) on Netflix, or even a Spotify keynote film. In 2023, Persha was honored to win both the Grown Kid Music Lab and Universal 100%HER competitions, solidifying her place as an emerging talent in the industry.

Now in Vancouver, Persha’s sound is evolving even further, with mesmerizing new tracks that combine futuristic beats with messages of hope and resilience. She’s here to inspire and remind us all that anything is possible.
